History

S2 Trading Corporation began with a simple belief held by Ramesh Gala in 1950, that India deserved better, smarter, and more sustainable paper solutions. At a time when Synthetic Non-Tearable Paper (NT) had limited visibility and almost no widespread adoption, he took the lead in collaborating with Indian and global manufacturers and bringing this innovation to the Indian market. The early years weren’t easy. Most industries were unfamiliar with the material, its performance, and its environmental advantages. But through consistent education, demonstrations, and hands-on support, he helped businesses understand how durable, recyclable synthetic paper could reduce waste, last longer, and contribute to a more responsible way of printing.
